Default Training

Hey guys, was wondering if the training has gotten any better over there. I haven't heard anything for awhile and the last I did hear there were guys failing out left and right. I'm a corporate guy flying a Citation X and am wanting to make the leap to the bus. To be honest
The horror stories of the past have made me a little uneasy. Thanks in advance for any advice.

The reason guys are failing left & right is because the lack of experience from some of the newhires. Training is the same its always been

Chimpy is right. It is a tough system to get through, but if you study hard it isn't impossible. They actually work really hard to get guys through.

Anybody else on here in the 9/21 class? Just go in not expecting to be taught the airplane. Get Flows, memory items, and limitations down before you show up!

And just to add, know the captain flows as well since your checkride will be flown from the left seat. I didn't realize this until the first day of class.

For 121 it's garbage. When we were getting experienced guys most of which with 121 experience they knew how to make it through. Now we hire low experienced guys that struggle we also didn't hire many 135/91 in the past because they typically struggle. Now we have to hire them and as a result we see more washouts.

Many corporate guys get through but it's important to understand this isn't Flight Safety and you are no longer the customer paying for them to hand you a type rating.

Hey guys, I got a link today for a longer app that has me breaking down my times and asks for passport info. Is this normal?

i did mine all at once, but i guess if you missed it in the first time (which I heard sometimes it doesn't show up depending how you applied and what specifically you clicked to apply) then they want you to complete it, then you should see an email with a personality assessment test

I did the personality assessment test when I completed the first application. This one asked for my flight times a bit more in detail and for specific information of my FCC and passport.

It's so weird that everyone's experiences are so different as far as what you've received and timelines.
I received the personality almost immediately but never received the cognitive.
