Spirit of NKS, Part II
With all due respect, 2,300hrs is .........................well, its 2,300hrs. Kind of worrisome if all we can attract is 2,500hr guys....................
This isnt necessarily a dig at you, I know nothing about you but your times are really very low
Nope no prior military. I would say that I am certainly an exception as to what was seen during my interview where almost everyone else was a regional captain. And from talking at the job fairs I would say that is mostly who is knocking on the door or at least getting calls for interviews. But I do know of one other regional FO that did get hired as well. I would say most of those applying now are those that are at regionals without a flow. I am also only 28 so it's not like I'm some old fart who they know is going to stick around until retirement.

Don't be worried. Be happy. 2300 today, hopefully 1500 in 6 months all leading to them having to give us a contract.

Why go fly an RJ when you can jump straight into an Airbus?

I was told by a check airman that our insurance had to agree to drop the mins down to 2500TT from the original 4000TT. If true (I don't have proof one way or another) I'd imagine they would have to approve any further reduction.
Maybe he can fill you in on the contents of the instructor / check airman conference call with the nc.
