Letters of rec from current Spirit employees seem to also go a long way if you know anyone here who will write one for you.

With all due respect, 2,300hrs is .........................well, its 2,300hrs. Kind of worrisome if all we can attract is 2,500hr guys....................

And from talking at the job fairs I would say that is mostly who is knocking on the door or at least getting calls for interviews. But I do know of one other regional FO that did get hired as well. I would say most of those applying now are those that are at regionals without a flow. I am also only 28 so it's not like I'm some old fart who they know is going to stick around until retirement.
