Spirit of NKS, Part II
Took an inheritance and got himself just about every kind of type rating; Helicopter, Seaplane, etc etc. Honors society in school, tons and tons of community service of all kinds. Incredibly smart and incredibly polite...
This coming from those who actually reviewed his resume and helped with his interview prep...
I don't know about the XJT bit, but according to people who know he actually DID have one hell of a resume.

Business Wire Business WireNovember 7, 2016
WILMINGTON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Air Transport Services Group, Inc. (ATSG) today said that Judge Timothy S. Black of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio has ordered that the dispute between ATSG’s cargo airline, ABX Air, and its pilot employees represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Airline Division; and the Airline Professionals Association of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 1224 (collectively, the “IBT”), is a minor dispute under the Railway Labor Act and should be resolved through the grievance and arbitration process contained in the parties current labor agreement.

Gotta love airline pilots voting Republican. And then beotch a storm when they can't get a contract and go off on the RLA. It's a fact: of the two party political system, one party has been historically anti-labor and the other party for labor. When it comes to organized labor, MAGA means voting Democrat.

Anyway, not to get into a political debate, the original comment was in regards to organized labor and the RLA, which are appropriate for the forum.

While you are entitled to your opinion, that opinion is factually incorrect. The two party political system has nothing to do with the specifics of the RLA. The RLA governs everything that is done when negotiating airline labor contracts. You comments were two-fold, with one being irrelevant to the other. And if your assessment was correct, then why is it that a DEMOCRAT PRESIDENT halted a strike at American in '97?
