oh, i get it now,,,,teamsters has gotten more for aligient than alpa has gotten for you.......

Smh I have a gut feeling you will be a ghost when we get ours. What's your work rules like?

Not sure, but I know it will be less then 9 years that teamsters took at RAH.

Friend of mine at UAL is saying they anticipate hiring 1000 pilots a year for the next ten years. Basically they are going to turn over the pilot group in the next decade.

ALPA did well for delta and ual. Lets not pretend they are incapable of getting decent labor deals done

Haven't they always hired less than what they "projected". I know they have to hire to cover the inevitable retirements but still (trying to stay sane by trying to find some negative with that news)

Probably hired just as many as they said they would in 07'-08'. Right up to the point where they Furloughed the same guys months later for 3-5 years.

That's always a risk. Only difference is that time they didn't have the retirements because of age 65 hitting.
