That's my line... I had to get a surgery and another semi invasive procedure this month and I lost a ton of pay for November. I'm out of sick time and I'm out of vacation. My spouse lost one of his two jobs; He lost his job because he had to be with me for the surgery. His employer refused to give him the time off because he hadn't been there for more than one year and did not qualify for FMLA. If I didn't get this surgery I'd be out of work till July or August. I carry the health insurance and I am the primary income earner. So sometimes you have to do what you have to do! So unless y'all want to pay my bills, and pay for what's going on in my life. Step the F off.

I understand, However I have bills to pay too and you don't see me doing that. I think you will get fatigued with a schedule like that. You would be better off keeping your original schedule as awarded. Plus I see 7 days of flying in a row which could be an FAR Violation unless you have 30 hours of actual rest in there.

So I've been hearing that a lot of our pilots are putting themselves on the Standing Available list for December. Scheduling has to contractually call that list. Everyone on it until the trip is staffed. I agree we should ALL place ourselves on the list. Every...single...person. I think it is a great idea. We all want to help out this holiday season right!?!?!
