The FLL Feb bid package had quite a few 4+2 trips built in. Not quite "working 6 days straight", as you get to spend one night at home (provided you don't commute) but I've been noticing more and more every month it seems.

Again, this ulcc will still have record profits even if they give us delta pay. Ask you negotiating committee.

It's not our job to run this company. There are only a few things we can do in our office that affect the stock price. We fly airplanes and need to be paid properly for the responsibility.

In the mean time, show Bendo that we are a last place airline....

Because he does his job well! He is a buffer for us to hate instead of our CEO. He successfully broke our union during the meltdown last summer which was caused by FA staffing. He continues to keep cost ultra low. Like not paying for dirty airplanes yet saying he is working on getting better! Hey we did get crumb busters!!!

Inconceivable that there are still volunteers for the job fairs. YGTBFSM.

What you saw was a five day off elimination with no other changes. Having a min 15-16 day off requirement and no work blocks longer than 4 days and a min 2 days off will eliminate many of the issues you saw and also solve the problems with the required 5 days off that I mentioned. Yes there will be some lines that are 4 on 2 off for a couple weeks but guys will bid them for the large day off blocks created by the min 15-16 days off in the month.

Of course you don't just hand over 5 days off for a little cash and nothing else. That is just stupid but to say there is no other solution than just having four days off is a bit close minded.

I will say the one premium work rule that just can't be changed in any way or be sold is the red/green. That is a serious qol enhancer. I'm not even sure though that it is industry leading which means it's not something you take a pay hit for to leave alone.

Thank you for a well thought out reply.

Here is something we can all agree on.

If you are a CA (all F/Os) and have been here for 7 years or less you are doing yourself and your family a huge disservice by staying at this second class operation.

Our passengers hate us
Our management hates us
Wall St hates us
We make a fraction of what legacy pilots make, hell, we don't even compare to jetblue or VA
We have no retirement

And we have mr JS who likes to threaten Instructors if they don't drop their Greivances.

Really classy operation we have here
