Not really applicable unless one legacy strictly hires from a competitor's regional feed. As if UAL and AA only hired from Endeavor with the intent to bankrupt them. Use your head.

What the hell. He has nothing better to do? We have a govt affairs committee and Alpa pac for the lobbying. If the MEC chooses to elect him again they're gonna catch some serious hell.

So airtransat's contract was amendable in April 2015 and the just held a strike vote. In Canada I think a strike vote is purely symbolic just like in the USA. It lets the company and the pilot group know that pilots are united and ready to walk out when legally able to.
When is ours? I'm confident we would have a strong message to send with the exception of Feng who we all know will vote against a strike.

I'm just saying despite all that we won't get it.

That's the first time you've said as much. If you're willing to go as far as walking out on strike I can assure you we will get it if that happens. I'd hate to see it take that long or go that far but we would get it. The last strike was a learning experience. You don't go back without a vote. I think many voted for something they knew was subpar because of the "no mans land" comments. This time if we were out on strike it's either a ratified TA or stay out on strike.
