He's the reason Jyri fng hates us so much. Maybe if TH had more people skills he would realize him and the rest of the MEC would have been better off giving Jyri a fng seniority #.
It's amazing how dumb they are. Waste all their time preventing us from making money and screwed us all by fng over Jyri.
Great job

Wait wait.... You want Jyri to have a seniority number? Did you know he tried that in 2011? One day he and his friends showed up on the list as captains. The union had to go all the way to arbitration to get them off there. He can stay off until he applies, interviews and starts at the bottom like the rest of us did.

Well said. But, nobody in management will ever share our values. Never have never will. They live in an alternate reality, typically clueless of how the operation works at our level. If it's not JS, someone else will step in and act just as despicable. Whoever they are, we have to deal with them, firmly, through our union organization.
"Kumbaya" never worked here, the good news is that more and more line pilots seems to realizing that fact.
Should we be surprised? JS does whatever he wants, waves his middle finger at us and the CBA, all the while sending emails about the great airline we are building together. And all our MEC chairman wants to do is sing Kumbaya and be best buddies with management. March 16th can't come fast enough![/QUOTE
Hopefully he will be seeking employment elsewhere as soon as this new CEO brings his own team in or we buy or get bought by someone.
JS sure doesn't share the same values that most of us do. Most here have worked their way up in this occupation, have real experience and have paid their dues day in and day out.
I have never seen a management group be more oblivious to the day to day operations and instead be so enamoured with their earnings.

I completely agree with you. Some of this can be blamed on us and the way we as a union have been minimized by management. If we had active roles and allowed to actually participate in the process of hotel selection, scheduling, training and hiring, maybe this could be a better place.
Instead our committees are minimized and reduced to only reviewing that the company is adhering to our contract, which many times they are not. But thank goodness we have JA.

Absolutely, I have no respect for that guy whatsoever.

Hang on, are you implying that we need someone that has obtained an educational level great than high school in ****king Finland? Non-sense, paying dues is over rated at best and only leads to ****ed off personal. Please get me someone that did not finish high school!!
