Well, according to our fleet CP, pilots did and got .....wait for it....you guessed it.

I'd love to see where the FAA says that I can't read the dispatchers prepared flight plan to FSS.... (Helping the company is a separate issue- maybe last leg home...)

I was trained to read and talk on the phone at a very young age....

As a pilot group, we sure don't learn. Filing flight plans? Cmon guys, let's help the operation AFTER management agrees to a contract that shows we're a valuable part of the airline, not BEFORE. If I was management, I'd be looking at keeping this current contract for as long as the flight attendants have had theirs. Obviously there's no incentive for management to come to the table, they know the pilots are gonna do what management asks for. Heck, I bet if old JS asked us to take a pay cut, or give other relief from the contract, I bet the union and the pilots would do it.

(Took a breath and realized that it doesn't matter. People will do what they are going to do)

I almost feel like the email is super condescending/patronizing.

Almost like, "even though we **** on your contract and refuse to pay you anywhere close to IA, you p------ still help us. Thanks!
