Exactly. Probably worst in the industry.

This pilot group is eating itself alive with that crap, along with "slopers" and whatever else goes on in APC. We are all in this together, and we are in it for the long haul, no matter what JA says. Just act like professionals, and keep your resume updated. QOL is one thing, sending your kids to college is another. Shouldn't have to choose in this profession with these profits. But throwing tantrums and turning on each other gets us nowhere, and neither does meaningless online posturing.
I would make the point that it is the job of the company (dispatcher's message via ACARS, MX control, MX at the base, ops, gate agent) to notify you of such delays/issues, not the job of the CA (sure as heck not the job of the FO) to seek this info out.

You want to check the dumper and make sure its clean too? Having a clean bathroom is important too. Want to check the cargo load to make sure it matches the load manifest?

We clearly will not agree on this, but dont get upset when people give you grief when they click the mic on your ops calls. Just as you are annoyed with the behavior of people doing that, they are equally as annoyed by the behavior you are demonstrating at that time.

Dont complain about APC. You signed up and entered the thunderdome. If it hurts too much, maybe think about how much you want to post/read on here. This forum has been the cause of ulcers and night sweats to some.

Ok. Perhaps I shouldn't check the wx radar on my phone either. I'll wait in my cockpit chair and hope somebody spoons the information to my mouth. The point is, there is more to this job than pushing a few buttons in the right order and sitting back and drinking coffee. Perhaps I should sit in the plane waiting for a jetway driver while not making any more money instead of calling to get someone to let everyone off the plane so I can go home. I seriously doubt people are calling ops to get things done so they can get it on time and fix the A14 on behalf of the company at this point. Maybe I'm wrong, but for me that ship sailed in December. Just quit pretending the evil Jyri or Bendo will read about this stuff on APC or listen to mic clicks on their secret ops tape recorder and think, "ok, now let's pay them what they are worth"

Clearly you're missing the point as are the many on the volunteer available list..also the guys that need 120hrs of credit to pay their bills.. All of these hinder our unity and progress toward a CBA.. 2020 baby! Can't wait!

Can parents fly off our ZED agreements on myidtravel? How about international?

Every time I try to list a parent on ANY airline on myidtravel, it shows them as ineligible, even though they are on my travel benefits and selectable from the traveler's drop down menu.

Do I need to contact HR?

Check with the airline ZED info chart on who can be listed. Some airlines have restrictions.

Tried that, looked at a bunch of different airlines in the airline agreement, both domestic and international. There's no explanation for the codes, and even if there were, the codes are all the same whether it's for employee, employees' spouse or parents.

I googled the codes, but couldn't find any explanation or definitions at all.

Every airline on myidtravel listed my parents as ineligible, the only airline I can list them on is Spirit, off the team travel site. If that's the policy, so be it, but if not maybe HR knows what's up?

I checked mine out. Went to myidtravel, booking/listing and listed my father for a mock trip from DFW to MEX...worked fine. Tried another with LUF, worked fine.

So if you're doing the process correctly, might be a glitch that needs to be fixed
