Maybe we should stop worrying about Delta/AA/United and look in our own house and the issues we have. We have become the neighbors looking out the bathroom window at the new sports car the neighbor just bought, and not paying attention to the issues we cause ourselves in our own house.

-Standing Avail list a mile long
-Calling for paperwork, ice, lav, etc instead of focusing on our job.
-Lack of leadership from the current MEC
-And my favorite, guys asking the tug driver to move the plane in order to get the plane out on time and get on the clock.

Im glad Delta pilots are doing well, and hope they continue to do well. Worrying about how soon a Delta pilot will make $xxx over us doesnt advance our cause in any way.

And Bravo to the creator of The Green Dragon...awesome
Can we all stop pretending someone asking for paperwork on ops frequency really makes a difference on contact negotiations? Because that would be great. You guys are embarrassing the whole pilot group with your public anonymous whining on this forum. Act like grown ups to be paid like grown ups.

Now the willingness of our pilots to jump at the chance to go to work on days off for straight pay at our current rates is another thing entirely....

Well, my point was that the "Ghost" Junior CA rates that some of our N/C said never existed now exists. That's all.

Keep going above and beyond for the company, doing tasks that aren't yours and hope Bendo and Jyri give you more money.

Requesting paperwork has nothing to do with "bringing the company to its knees," awarding us a new contract. It has to do with solidarity amongst the pilots by saying "Until we are paid what we deserve, we will not be going above and beyond for this airline. We will do our job in a professional and save manner; and when the company decides to recognize the pilots and pay them appropriately, it will be at that time you will see us begin to go above and beyond and "fly it like we own it."

We all want the company to do well. But only a fool will continue to bend over backwards by doing more than their job while the company drags its feet at the table. The is happening at the same time that Bendo and others are CASHING OUT shares of SAVE stock that they are awarded as part of their compensation package.

Can you explain to me how "acting like grown ups" will have a direct path to a new contract since you seem to have a firm grasp on it

And if you'll excuse me..seems like we have a James Ackerman podcast sighting in my inbox...

Aren't they the same Ghost Rates in effect when you were hired? Weren't you jumping all over yourself to get in here hoping for a quick upgrade to fill that "Ghost rate?" Wasn't the average negotiation time for a new CBA when you were hired SEVERAL YEARS?

I think you see where I'm going.

Hey Ram, you say the same Thing every time I mention the slope. ( you knew the rates before etc.....)

THE DIFFERENCE Is before I got hired and before our contract was amendable I believed our NC would fix the lopsided pay scale. It appears that isn't the case, or at least that's what I'm led to believe.

I think you see where I'm going..........

Our Junior CAs make what?, $130,000.00?

I don't care about A14 or D0 or anything like that for that matter. But having my choice to inquire about paperwork (maybe dispatch hasn't filed it yet due to EDCT, wx, maintenance etc? It is very much my job to know things that affect the safe and legal outcome of my flight...) being met with mic clicks and pot shots from other pilots (even if they are just puffery on an online forum) is not a sign of solidarity. This pilot group is eating itself alive with that crap, along with "slopers" and whatever else goes on in APC. We are all in this together, and we are in it for the long haul, no matter what JA says. Just act like professionals, and keep your resume updated. QOL is one thing, sending your kids to college is another. Shouldn't have to choose in this profession with these profits. But throwing tantrums and turning on each other gets us nowhere, and neither does meaningless online posturing.
