Spirit of NKS, Part II

The top pay on the current contract was higher then jetblue, AA, USAir, and United at the time it was signed. That's certainly not taking the industry backwards.
The wages will come around. The stall tactics and management dragging things out have gone on since the inception of this industry.
Which is why some on here and many others in the industry will never stop crying and *****ing. Best thing to do is get out of the industry.
Same **** goes on at every carrier. Wait for another downturn, the legacies will be first to furlough and give up concessions.

I was lucky enough to avoid the 2010 "B Scale" implementation, and was actually paid higher (couple bucks an hour) than a same longevity jetBlew guy.... for about 3 months. Sound about "on par" and worth risking a strike?
Edit: oops, scratch that 3 month statement... forgot to factor in the profit sharing. Then again maybe their awful health insurance makes up for that?

Not criticizing the slope, I think you guys have a legitimate beef on that one. Just tired of hearing about it, and don't like the occasional insinuation that those of us that escaped the B Scale were involved in a sinister plan to hose those of you that weren't even hired yet. You are working under the same slope that was in place when you were hired, stop whining and fix it.

Yes, you are correct, however I assumed we would fix it this contract. It has been said on more than a few occasions that it's incredibly expensive to fix and wouldn't quite be fair to give junior CAs such a large raise and leave the smallest increase to the senior guys. That's why I'm whining about it, because I get the impression it won't be fixed this time around either........ That's all
I imagine that it will be hard for a TA that doesn't address this problem to be approved.
