It never once denied I'm a Dbag. Call me a Dbag for my grammar if you wish, but don't call me one for demanding we get a fair contract soon. The profits the airlines are making now is because of low oil. Demand is weakening and if we don't get something soon, I'm afraid we will be negotiating in a much different economy relatively soon

Hey, let's all just get along and pretend we received a 21% PS check!
Because I'm guessing the db's that filed their own flight plans are doing this!

Holy S-------
How am I the only one this outraged.
The N/C has ZERO, I REPEAT ZERO plans to fix the slope.
Mark my words they will not fix jack ****. The only way it will be fixed is when upgrades come to a stop. Then and ONLY THEN will they fix the junior rates because they will become
Wait for it............ Wait for it..........
GHOST RATES.
Peace. I'll come back on when we get a contract in 2020 to say I told ya so. (Hopefully from the seat of an airline that actually pays pilots and doesn't constantly try and F----- them

True^^^^^^^
The only thing to take into account is that the bulk of seniority of this group is around the 5 year mark. When a contract is presented to the group, everyone will be able to voice their opinion by how they vote. If a B6 3 year 190 Capt is making more than our 5 year 320 Capts, that is certainly going to be an issue which is both insulting and a no vote for many.
While it is true that many knew the pay rates, upgrade times and the amendable date of the contract, there is nothing wrong with demanding industry std with our peers such as B6.

I understand Fornaro is our new CEO, however he has been on the board for well over a year correct? Is this N/C week long meeting just updating the new CEO? I mean he should already be well up to speed on the negotiations.
I really really hope we get something better this time around than "progress was made but significant gaps remain".
I also don't understand how it seems like Bendo meets with the AFA 2-3x a month? It would be nice if he met with our N/C this much to hammer this thing out

As far as pilot costs on CASM, they do have an effect, but the effect is not as pronounced as the "perceived" effect they'll have. Not even close. I truly think he hasn't been brought up to speed on current pilot contract negotiations, this is probably understandable.
