I heard that their TA was finalized after the company requested an unexpected emergency meeting with their negotiating committee. Can anyone verify this?

This is going to light up the speculation fire to roast some rumor filled marsh mellows.

I did speak to a Spirit Stores guy in ATL about a month ago. He said they were opening up a MX base there. A pilot base wouldn't surprise me. Spirit has already been soliciting ATL FAs.

NEOs have been deferred until September. Total of 5 planes coming September to January. I think 4 are supposed to be NEOs.

Apparently another fume event..MSP-FLL was nixed this morning new filters being installed... Happening all too frequently

all I know is I'm getting sick and tired of being dinged at 5,000ft or every 5 minutes with FAs and their "fumes". It's a very distinct smell and I'm not undermining real events. I am simply stating that some are taking the fat guys fart in 1A and calling up in a panic

Just heard another captain from my class leaving for Delta. Has Spirit officially become a feeder for the legacies?

I think it always has been. It's just during 2007-2013 the Legacies weren't really hiring so people just stayed put

Along with the other LCC's. Including SouthWest. Even if you're paid "average " like SW or Alaska, it's hard to compete when you can reasonably expect to move up in gauge at AA or DL quickly and make much more. Not to mention DC. Spirit guys just have 10x more incentive.
