Im assuming they didn't tell you that you would be paid regular pay after 90 days if you were still not done with training? Chalk up some seniority while they try and find you a sim slot, miss out on ACY all together since you'll have a few more system bid chances to get your preferred base. Im sure none of this was told to you.

I've done sims here that end around 11pm, its hard to stay at 100% in the fast paced sim world until almost midnight. I can't imagine making initial training more difficult by making people perform to the high standards required while battling against your circadian rhythm.

"Ok, you'll see 2 or 3 V1 cuts before your checkride, lets get these in around 3am this morning"
Preach it, brother!

Damn that would have been nice to know.

I would love to know which instructors think that is fair to make a new hire train in the middle of the night so they can volunteer for extra straight pay. What a Fukcin joke!!!

With the ground instructor grievance and the threats that were made I have no idea why anyone would do this. Not to mention it sets a precedent in negotiation saying we have no problem training at 2 am.

Oh and let's not forget JS email today thanking us for all our hard work yet not a hint of even a comprehensive contract proposal from management. They have had our entire ask for months now, and not so much as an insulting counter.

High five!!!

Yes, but why would they? Will still have guys creaming over themselves to save the day! We've shown zero unity or resolve! Hell, we can't even get guys to wear a green lanyard. I heard Yuri say for every guy that doesn't have a green lanyard on, he considers a victory! Welcome to team Yuri!

We have 5am show times in FLL for PC. Not so fun for someone based in LAS, let me tell you.

Every time I step foot in the training environment, I'm thankful for the great instructors and check airmen we DO have.

Guys, I'm not quite sure where the rumor that we're doing sim sessions at 0300 started. That hasn't happened. The last sim sessions are schedule to end at 2330.

Plus, there is no instructor open time for pickup for a sim at 0300.

In the future? Who knows? As we grow, the union may sign off on round the clock sims, but as of now, that's not the case.

Really?
