Why would you be taxing around fatigued? Or single engine in snow for that matter? If you're that worried about it start them both every time, nobody said you can't.
If you're down to the accumulator the last thing you want to do is hit the brakes several times. One smooth application should stop the jet then set the PB.

I was thinking the same thing. Look, you start number 2 and you lose the engine driven hyd pump, then don't panic, uh turn the electric pump on, come to a stop and work the problem. If you can't remember where the switch is for the yellow electric pump then stop on accumulator set the parking brake and call for a tow. How hard is this? You lose the yellow pump, you obviously ain't going anywhere. Not sure this is even an issue.

Why are you taxing around on engine 2 single engine? Our manuals prohibit this. You are to start engine one after push back or you are allowed to taxi only to get to a suitable place to start engine one.

Yes this is obvious. The point I was making was the Spirit manuals have been changed several times in the many years I have been operating the aircraft. A lot of the procedures we have now stray cignifacantly from the original type certificate procedures manuals. We started with the manufacturer publications when we first got the bus. Developed by the people that built the jet. I could bore you with many examples but you will probably just flame me with your expert knowledge. So..... Never mind.
