It's an illusion. Have you seen our block times? They've been padding the schedule. 300-400# taxi fuel was the norm in the past. Now it's >= 900 every leg.

I have noticed that but the actual stats are better than ever thanks to Fornaro. But he idea that low pilot morale is causing the company to underperform is not true. They are making themselves available by the hundreds according to our cp's last email and going he extra mile for ja's or move up pay.

Fact is we are not angry enough not even close to get this deal done.

Shizz people are still helping heir buddies get on here. Ygtbsm

I'm certainly angry enough! The new hire I'm flying with is even more upset than me! I love it!

These people on the standing available list really need to get the message. It's pretty disgraceful that these people will sell their souls for a few bucks and undermine their fellow crewmembers and the same time. Disgraceful!

I had several alterations to my schedule even before it was finalized for October. They added an average of 10 minutes to quite a few of the legs I was flying. I think he's padding the schedule to get our DOT times better. Overall that will mean less over block but the schedules themselves will be worth a little bit more to begin with. It certainly has made it harder to be substantially late, and it's easier to absorb a delay down the line when you have extra padded time built-in.

Just a question. I agree that staffing and cancelations will certainly force their hand but what helped delta and SW particularly? SW pilots work TONS of open time. One of their guys even said that if they went to PBS it would make them less efficient.

I think at least at Delta you have a management team that is LEAPS & BOUNDS better than ours. They probably think "big picture" and not as short term as our management whose only concern is next quarters earnings?

I am totally taking a WAG but I have no other explanation why Deltas management was much more willing to get a deal done than ours.

ITS OK THOUGH, Bendo said on this weeks Podcast hell be in DC next week and is looking forward to making progress, lol

FWIW I cant wait until we Picket in FLL

Pretty confident we can knock out this pesky Section 10: Transfer to Non-Flying or Supervisory Duty that we just can't seem to agree upon. Maybe even nail down a few of these confusing Definitions.

FLL airport will only give a permit for FOUR pilots at a time.

The gravy chokers may have to actually get on a plane and go to a picketing event.

Maybe we picket Miramar?
