That is Bull! If the airplane is broken write it up! No way I would give a broken airplane to the next crew with that note. If I got on the plane with that note, I would refuse it until it is fixed.

Folks we have to protect our licence, lives and of course the airline. We are too small to have a serious incident or accident.

I'd be seriously irate if another CA left me the plane like that! ***!!

To the OP, probably not the best decision to post that, that's why we have pro standards.

Personally, I'm irate every time a crew notifies me of a open write-up they'd like me to carry. I calmly tell them I will not carry the write-up and I have it addressed. To those company heroes that carry open write-ups, do your efn job you tools!

Several lapses of judgement:

First by the person writing a note regarding a mx issue, instead of writing it up.

Second by the doofus posting a photo of said note with pilot's name on it in a public forum.

Hey guys

I'd like to thank many of you for "making more go happen"!
First, the FLL and DFW guys for consuming (not choking on) exorbitant amounts of straight time OT. Go ahead..... swallow!
You're welcome!
Next, I'd like to encourage you to pick up the phone on your days off and NOT write up MX items! Those can be written up when the plane gets to ORD!

High five and a special shout out to my DFW and ORD girls!!

Happy Holidays, Bendo! It's great to see everybody put in the extra effort to get those stock prices higher, so you could get the most from $$ your recent cash-out.

Don't worry about that Christmas open time flying. There are plenty of pilots who are willing to find it in their hearts to step up and make more Holiday Go happen for our customers...as always: NO ADDITIONAL ACCOUTREMENTS. Just put out some extra cocktail wieners in the crew room and they'll come running.

Don't look now, but Spirit stock has skyrocketed to $60! (Minus a little pull back today.) Last time I looked, it in the LOW $40s..
