I am not saying anyone should go to Xjet, unless things change there. Envoy over your failed experiment sure. Endeavor is on the rebound. My top choice would be Compass for a new hire. Skywest. PDT. Mesa(if you don't have a family, or you have another source for medical insurance).

Keep calling me a bitter old man kiddos. I am enjoying one of my 18 days off this month and posting this stuff from a chairlift in Vail! Bitter? Heck no! My life is just fine: 2/3 of the month off and $130k/yr works fine for me!

Take our old decrepit airplanes. It doesn't affect me at all. Heck pilfer my FOs IF it is going to work out for them. I just don't believe it will. I am entitled to my opinion and if you spoiled rotten little kids wanna call an "old man" names, expect it right back.
This whole statement tells me you have no idea what you're talking about. You'd seriously recommend a concessionary regional to CFIs? Then Mesa or Skywest?

Alright people we can stop replying to him, Grandpa just escaped the nursing facility nothing to see here.

Oh wow. This kid is in recruiting for TSA?? He's the one that started the whole "old man" thing, namecalling like a 12 year old, and now for the icing on the cake, a pilot in charge of recruiting at TSA has insinuated my wife is a prostitute? Class acts you got over there.

Some kids parents (sigh).

Hey guys been monitoring this thread for about a month. Don't let PilotCrusader get you worked up, I've flown with quite a few capatains approaching retirement. Skiing ha ha heck no, walking to the park in North Texas most likely.
Anyhow I would love to get onboard the CQFO program. But, I'm sitting at 2900 hrs total with about 800 hrs 121 SIC. I Have the PIC Type in the 145. If I make the jump to TSA any input on the outlook for a somewhat experienced FO? Would it still be possible to obtain an upgrade in a yearish?
Also does anybody have any gouge on the Denver base, and how junior/senior it will be going?
I'm ready to off reserve, credit more than guarentee, and obtain the neccassary experience to forward my career.

If only you could spell "necessary", or "captain", or "guarantee". To answer your questions on behalf of the TSA guys though: Sure to all!! Come on down! You will be flying a triple 7 in no time! We'll bring you in for an interview under the assumption you are being looked at for a CQFO. Then we'll bring in our best EX-Hyundai salesman, err "recruiter", and sell you the FO track. Don't worry! It won't affect you at all!

I'm sorry, it's really hard to type while surfing off the coast of Maui.

How much is a monthly prescription of Viagra nowadays? Us "kiddos" may need it in 40 years as we retire at a mainline making double your $130k with 18 days off.

Oh young padawan, is that supposed to make me upset? Haha. If you actually do achieve that, good for you! It can't make me feel bad because everything in this profession is timing and luck. However, if history stays true, and it usually does, you will have plenty of unforeseen setbacks in your career as well. How you weather them is the true judge. Good luck kiddo!

So you are actually standing on a surfboard while posting? Uh huh.
If I can get my small words right on a chairlift with my glove inserts on, I think you should be able to actually spell the small stuff. I blame your parents and your teachers. Mostly your parents though.

Oh my bad, I thought this was a public forum. I also wouldn't qualify 15 minutes a day reading up on what UAX pilots are discussing as an ALL DAY event. What is fun is watching some of you guys get all spun up whenever some one provides some facts to the discussion and sheds some reality on the situation. It's great when you guys go all "keyboard commando" on here. How's your Unicorn?
