How do you figure? We have a contract. When that is up anything goes and thats life at the regionals but mid contract it is very unlikely that we will lose our AA flying. Its not easy or financially wise for AA to break contract when they could just wait it out instead of paying a bunch of money in penalties.

Ya im with you on this one. Now for the debate on renewal of contract. Im guessing yes, but with a major reduction in AA flying. Of course that would depend on how the other AA 145 operators are doing in the staffing department. So basically its anybodys guess at this point.

Im not talking about taking on additional flying. I am however referring to the idea that AA will not take our flying and give it to the WOs unless they can staff it. If they can, than I would say the planes and flying will be gone overnight. If they cannot, well than we keep on keeping on.
The biggest point is this: nobody knows. We will not have a clue until that time draws near.
In my experience, anybody that claims to know or have inside information is completely 110% full of dog crap. Were all just guessing here

Parker has already said publicly that they are trying to cut contract carriers, and will do so in the next year or two. There were 10 regionals flying for AAG, and he said that they were going to cut 5 of them. AWAC was the first to go.
The 3 WO are safe, obviously. SkyWest is most likely safe as well. It is anyones guess who the last one will be.

The good news for TSA is they already have an established relationship with United, and United has shown a desire to pickup flying when AA lets it go.
