Lateral? More like another rung up. And it sounds like a substantial pay increase. Plus going back to his home town. I dont thing regional to regional at that level is a lateral move. For us YES. Him, makes sense.

LS is the new DO. KS is going one rung on the ladder up and possibly even more importantly moving back home where his family is. That was a big factor in his decision and I completely understand. Anyone thinking this is him abandoning ship or something is completely not understanding the situation.

Regardless of why he left, KS was a breath of fresh air to this company, and an important buffer between the people at holdings and the pilots. This isn't good at all.

KS's value to this company was immense, and the fact that they didn't move hell and earth to keep him here says volumes about where we are going, and what is coming in our contract negotiations.
