Default skype interview

Does anyone have a recent gouge regarding the skype interview? I was trying to find something but didnt find much on here. Are there any tech questions and if someone can give me a rough idea of how to prepare for it. If i am asked about a system on my last airplane, do i pick the system or i am asked about a specific system. Thank you.

Your skype interview is just to make sure you are a real human person, if you have a verifiable pilot license you are good for training, that is all they want right now, they are very desperate. Only way you can probably not get the job is if you start stripping in front the camera to Lil Wayne. I'm guessing TSA is your only option.

I'm considering applying for TSA and I have a few questions for any TSA pilots willing to help me out:

What is the commuter policy? I know what the TSA commuter policy reads, I just don't understand how it benefits me or doesn't. My apologies if this is a naive question I am completely new to 121, I'm an old 135 dog.

How and when would I find out if I qualify for the CQFO deal? I have lots of 135 turbine time, but no ERJ time.

How does the schedule turn out each month? Is it possible to have more than five days off in a row each month or is it always something like 5on/3off or 4on/2off etc.

How much is the employee medical insurance monthly premium for a family plan?

Thanks so much.

Commuter policy states that as long as you have two flights that get you to your domicile before your assignment, if both are full, then you can call them and tell them you can't make it without any disciplinary action.

I highly doubt they will hire you as a CQFO without any 121 time.

Relatively senior FOs (approx. 18-24 months) are holding between 14-17 days off in a month. It is entirely possible to have 5-10 days off in a row not using vacation with our pref bidding system. You will pay other times in the month though with one or two days off between 4 day trips.

September upgrade class includes FOs with 24 months at the company...

Default No interview?

I see in the profile that Trans States is hiring current 121 guys without even interviewing them?! Is this true? I have a friend at the airline formerly known as ASA...

From the TSA website: "Current and qualified 121 pilots are not required to interview and will be offered an immediate class date, pending application approval. To qualify, pilots must have completed training and be online at a 121 airline."

So if your friend at ASA want to bail ship, apparently its just as simple as putting in an application and scheduling a class date.

As long as he doesn't have 5 DUIs or murdered 3 people. They still do a background check.
