Sorry Jeff...I’m not a mindreader. Maybe a better question would of been, how is seniority assigned within a new hire class? Your original question implied you thought the company could pick and choose who went to the 756.

Right until you learn the entire class is getting the 737.

Might as well locate a good Orthopedic doc prior to staring training.

Who said you had to answer him? It seemed pretty obvious what he was asking to me. Downunderjeff, not everybody at UA is an ass, just the ones who live on APC apparently.. Good luck, and keep the questions coming-eventually someone will give you a real answer.

Does anyone know if Tuesday's new hire class will get to choose from the unfilled slots for the bid that closes the same day? Just curious how the timing will work out with what is already available for new hires and the close of the bid.

Sorry folks been a busy week but here is the OCT 9th class drop.

24 total New Hires:

LAX 737 - 6

SFO 737 - 5
SFO 320 - 13 (8-Ball)

Next class is tomorrow OCT 16th.

There is a large bid open now and it closes tomorrow. It looks like there will be alot of 756 positions as well as some new base options open to new hires including GUM. I will post the open spots when I get a chance. good luck.

Default Not so fast!

Not sure who you are, but unfilled slots cannot be used / offered to NH/FR from the currently open vacancy until it's closed and awarded (posted on Flying Together). It is contractual!

I don't think he necessarily meant this week's class, but the NH's in classes coming up.

Holy crap calm down no reason to come in here guns blazing.....if you are talking to me I didn’t say anything about tomorrow’s class I said the bid closes tomorrow. So it’s clear that future classes could see those slots.
