My interview was on the 10th. Was told I’d have an answer by yesterday, but didn’t hear anything. Should I be concerned? I’m trying not to be really nervous, but the waiting is hard.

Good luck future half wingers.
What is the number of the most junior pilot and the number of the pilot holding at least 80% at the 737/GUM base?

Thanks

We do have a new head of pilot hiring so things may have changed, but the protocol for the last few years was:

- The earliest CJOs went out on the Wednesday afternoon the week after you interviewed.
- Don’t stress if you don’t get a call until Thursday, because things do get backed up.
- If you don’t get a call by the close of business on Friday then it’s time to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get to work on Plan B.

Pretty sure they won't just leave you hanging...

No they don’t leave you hanging, they call to tell you if you’re hired or email you a TBNT. So Coz if you haven’t heard check your spam box on your email. This is where the encouraging aforementioned words of pick yourself up and dust yourself off come into play. Good luck to all recent and upcoming interviewees.

Are the ACutAbove "UAL midnight blue" pants acceptable for a new-hire to have? https://acutaboveuniforms.com/collec...cts/mens-pants

Same with Pilot House "tapered" shirts with eyelets? https://pilotshirts.com/pilot-house-...t-with-eyelets

These two uniform pieces have always fit me the best and are the most comfortable. I ask because I can get these before ground school for the price of free. Are you required to buy M&H pieces as a new hire?

I have always felt the M&H uniforms were fitted to a water heater, and not a human.

2 Pants and 5 shirts are free to new hires. Feel free to compare colors...

Thank you. Do you know how long a new hire will have to sit reserve before one can hold a line?

In Guam? 9800 is the pilot at 80%. Most junior is about 10,900. Not certain but that equates to a late 2014 hire. It’ll be a while. I’ve been here 5.5 years and I’d be pretty close to the G Line in Guam.
