Comfy bunk? If you like sleeping on a hard park bench in a coffin....

Not arguing that we don’t deserve comfier bunks, just that our bunks are better than the guppy’s.

Default 757 in EWR

I've read some posts on a couple sites about 757/767 life, but it's been mostly West Coast domiciles. Anyone an FO in EWR with some info on a day in the life?

I class up in Feb; it's showed up on a couple bids and not sure if I should consider it or not.

Thanks,
Scotty-O

Not on it but from what I’ve heard the flying is great, a lot better than west coast. A lot of Europe. However if you want Newark your seniority progression would be much faster on the 737 or A320. I.e. getting off reserve faster. I’ve been here a little over 3 years and would be about 50% as EWR 737FO and 85% as EWR 756FO.... But I’ve never heard a negative thing about the plane. Just depends on what you’re looking for...

Saw something showing lots of 756 and 737 on the coasts and some SFO 320.

6 EWR 756
8 LAX 756
9 SFO 320
10 EWR 737
10 DCA 737
5 LAX 737
21 SFO 737
4 GUM 737

Must fill 10 756, 9 320, and 21 737.

If you are awaiting a class date, the United New Hire - Half Wingers facebook group is a good resource.
