Hi. Retired United pilot here. My daughter just interviewed and is awaiting the news. How does UAL order their classes these days? In 1990 it was the last four of your social. For grins, my new hire number was 7812! Thanks.

I was hired in 2013. At that time (and believe it’s still true) the order you go in the pool by week you are offered the job is last 4 ss# from lowest to highest. Once in class it was age oldest to youngest.
I have low last four ss and that put in class 2 weeks earlier (last person offered class the week I started).
