Do you know why there aren't any new threads on the merger or how CAL got screwed or how UAL took one in the shorts?

Because ALL the threads are about the merger and how each side is worse off.

If you do not increase the A then you will maintain a B average because its easier. Why put in the extra effort.
Lol. Never mind. Feel free to shot the MEC a note that we need to reduce the pay on the 764.

Let me guess who the moderator is.

So then if this is only an attempt to get as many planes in higher categories, then why did the following occur?

767-300 not also paid with 787 (Hint: CAL didn’t have any 767-300s)
767-400 pay banded with 747 (Hint: CAL didn’t have any 747s)
A-319’s a lower payrate than 320 and guppy 800 and 900 (Hint: CAL didn’t have any)
757-300 in a higher pay band than 757-200 (Hint: UAL didn’t have any)

Why unband the 320 with the 319 but then band only CALs 767s with 747s? Made no sense then. Still doesn’t. But whatever.

And to answer your question, now that we are getting more 319s we should unband the 767-400 and give that money to up the pay for the 319, since we have far more of those planes.

Man, we should have kept Cal Union leadership since they were able to pull that off.👎

CAL had 737-700s and 500s that were already in a lower band than 800s..what is your point (if you have one at all)?

I wasn't here during the integration, so I'm not going to waste my limited rage supply on something that I cannot possibly change (history).

In my opinion, having more high paying aircraft is good for pilots.

Exactly. However we ended up here makes no difference (to most of us). Getting where we want to be may or may not mean unbanding the current fleets. We shall have to wait and see.

What about the 737-700? It is unbanned from the other 737's.
