All 763 aren't equal. The High J's, even with the new interior, are probably at most jeopardy in the short term.

Cool story bro. Check back in if AA goes into liquidation.

"High J" is the UAL network planning term for the 767-300ER with the large "J" (business class) interior.

Between a huge Polaris (J) cabin, Premium Economy, Economy Plus and Economy (Steerage) the entire airplane only has 167 seats.

I am sure more will be added each day for the next week at least to get ready for April
Just checked the fleet list and here are the updated totals. This list only includes those aircraft that are listed as "parked" or "stored", many others are in Maintenance at various locations.

All these airframes are collateral for the interest only bankruptcy loans that were rolled over in to merger loans. Now, these loans are due to be retired by paying back the principle. Those banks that hold the loans, also were given stock as a guarantee on the loans. Whose stock was just repurchased and put into treasure stock? You guessed it, the banks. Would it surprise you to know that there are 400's out there that are still collateral at $25M that needs paid back.

Fly safe and due the right thing.
