Not at all.
How about the retired legacy United pilot I called to discuss seaplane operations in my area. The SLI hadn’t been finished yet. He asked me what I flew and then proceeded to tell me how much he hated Continental. This dude was retired for years before the merger was even announced. Things got real quiet in Dutch Creek when I told him I was a LCAL pilot. What is with retired pilots and the merger? They never even had a dog in the fight.

The fact that the LUAL pilots immediately dismiss a rather tame interaction speaks volumes to their arrogance. Here’s a ditty from an ‘08 hire LUAL:
“I feel terrible saying some of this. And I apologise. But it is how I feel, and I am honest.
I never looked to anyone for help to get a job, or cash, except to my employer.
I put in my application, and stood on my own two feet.
I never asked anyone for help to get a job.
That is why I literally, never applied at Continental.
I didn't want to stick my hand out to friends for help.
And that is the kind of people that Continental hired. The whole walk in a friend in policy.
People who had no problem sticking their hands out.
I got here on my own.
I expect nothing from fellow employees except for proper Union representation.
I hope we would feel we are being properly represented if we were able to be a fly on the wall listening to what is going on inside.
12 years on seniority list, 6 on property. 54 years immersed in everything aviation knowing what to expect in an airline career. Knowing we will get furloughed before I took the job.”

Again: close to 4,000 of us are currently staring down the barrel of financial ruin, and you guys can’t stop b!tching about the ISL from a decade ago.
For our collective mental health please $TFU and take it outside!

The cognitive dissonance should be deafening. Why did the United pilot group earn the nickname “Brain Surgeons”? Educate us.

You'd easily be on the "You be the judge" list.

I, like many, arm staring down the barrel of the loaded furlough gun, and I’ll tell you as a post merger guy I hated hearing this stuff when times were good. Now, it’s infuriating. Take your bs somewhere else.

settings and options
edit ignore list.
Make sure and spell the losers name correctly. This is the only websites I’ve ever been on where you can’t simply click on a losers name and ignore it that way.
I’d throw said loser on ignore, but his stories are just too entertaining! I had no idea that anyone with such a massive inferiority complex could fly an airplane. Much less manage to get hired at an airline, any airline.
The dude seriously reminds me of Skyhigh, in fact I’m pretty sure that’s who it is.
