Because this POS divides the pilot group! Not just a B scale, but a C scale too no less! How our MEC could even consider putting this to the group for MR is beyond me. I have emailed my LEC reps to tell them of my opinion on this BEFORE they vote to send this for MR. Have you?

Big Jet,
I heard from "a friend" there was some confusion over the intended application of that blanket statement that came up a while back when ALPA ran a public relations campaign in print...
Something about unverified information, false claims, and choosing someone who "personifies the pilot professionalism and living by the ALPA code of ethics" rings a bell.
Since then, I believe it was decided it would be a good idea to subject that "speaking" to membership oversight.

Been through 2 furloughs. When did the union or the company do anyone a favor, rhetorical question, the answer is never. I hope the offer will be something truly “offered” by the company and doesn’t pit one pilot against another, which by the way is what management always likes to do. See you on Wednesday....

Cancelling most of the displacements is huge... LTD increase is nice, first class DH nice, and hoping the reserve improvements are good. Achieving gains at a time like this should be celebrated. Finding a way to keep everybody on property is a monumental task in this kind of revenue environment.

Yes it would be great to keep everyone on the property with limited amount of pax flying, but who do you think is paying for that?
