clarification: At UAL they were always seen as cockroaches. At CAL, I wouldn’t say they “won”anything. They stole their careers. Every paycheck was theft(and still is). They’re not respected by their peers, and they live with the knowledge that they will never be “real” Airline pilots. If that’s what you call winning, then no thanks.

Most of them have had long careers.
I think they did win. They played the game the wrong way. But ALPA's lack of leadership, combined with acceptance and promotion by union busting management teams in conjunction with scab-friendly courts have paid the scabs well. They did win, and it stinks. They are laughing all the way to the bank. They don't care what the profession at large thinks of them. Heck, they didn't care what their peers thought of them when they crossed the line, and they sure don't care what we think of them today.
All I can say is a big FU on their way out the door.

All of a sudden everyone is feeling attacked. You keep saying "this is discrimination in reverse". Let's say this is in fact discrimination against white male pilots, how does that feel? If this doesn't help you to open your mind and help you speak up when you see discrimination against other groups, I don't know what will.
