Saying a scab “won”, is like saying a rapist is a ladies man.

I guess it’s a matter of perspective. The guilty party ends the day thinking that he got some, while the rest of us just see a villain.

There is never a reason to apologize or make excuses for a scab. That’s the only perspective on scabs, they are scum.

Absolutely. I was referring to how they see themselves vs how we see them.

Most of them have had long careers.
I think they did win. They played the game the wrong way. But ALPA's lack of leadership, combined with acceptance and promotion by union busting management teams in conjunction with scab-friendly courts have paid the scabs well. They did win, and it stinks. They are laughing all the way to the bank. They don't care what the profession at large thinks of them. Heck, they didn't care what their peers thought of them when they crossed the line, and they sure don't care what we think of them today.
All I can say is a big FU on their way out the door.

Thankfully they’ve been run out of all management positions, It’s also fun to deny those dirtbags the Jumpseat. Watching them cry to management after the merger when they were being shown the door when they would try to weasel a ride was quite entertaining. They were told too damn bad, it’s the Captain’s Jumpseat.

Default Sucks to be discriminated uh

All of a sudden everyone is feeling attacked. You keep saying "this is discrimination in reverse". Let's say this is in fact discrimination against white male pilots, how does that feel? If this doesn't help you to open your mind and help you speak up when you see discrimination against other groups, I don't know what will.

Not speaking about general discrimination in the USA, but UAL has for over 40 years (since 1978) done its best to hire pilots and FAs without discrimination, and frankly to extend preferential hiring based on ethnicity, race, sex, age and gender. The numbers speak for them themselves and to say other wise is to be blind or worse, out right telling a lie.

Yes sir. Well put. The pfriends of pfred are just about all gone. Those that remain are all marginalized. A few like Muir got a cush job. In total shock that Muir ever held a union position. Others too.
