We don’t know at this point how long our bodies remain tolerant to the virus. Also, your symptoms can be the result of a number of factors, including viral load of exposure. So it could be that your body’s a superstar at virus crushing as you claim, but it could also be that you were only exposed to a low level of virus. Would that then mean you developed a lower immuno-response and are more likely to get reinfected than someone who had a higher exposure? Again, we need more time & research to know.

So the vaccine’s effect on your immune system probably falls somewhere between completely moot & a booster. In time we may get a clearer picture of what the most effective timeline for post-recovery vaccination looks like, but for now, it’s safe & functions as greater assurance that you’re out of the supply chain of viral hosts. Keeps grandma safe & gets us all closer to the time we can take these damn masks of & get back to senior man pay & summer vacations in Europe.

This statement is the biggest untruth I've read here so far. I'm not going to inundate date you with links but I ask that you look at recent studies from the Cleveland Clinic as well as the UK. Not only is it unnecessary to mandate a vaccine for those previously diagnosed with Covid but a second shot, considered the norm for Pfizer and Moderna, can do far more damage to an already robust immune system. Covid survivors are showing longer lasting immunity than previously thought.

To be honest I’ve been conditioned in the past year to believe those storylines more than the ones that make it to the mainstream.
I know it’s not what you want to hear but for the most part, that “accepted” narrative is the upheld & legitimate one. In general, CDC- good (not perfect, but good), op-ed by a random MD- not as good, YouTube video- bad. Peer-reviewed studies and findings published across multiple established outlets (AP, WSJ, WaPo, etc.)- good; anecdotal ideas & theories circulating on Facebook- bad.

We could have a greater discussion about whether Mark Zuckerburg & Jack Dorsey should be the arbiters of speech in our society, but don’t buy into the narrative that just because they are censoring something, it necessarily means they are part of a conspiracy to hide the truth from you. In general, the mainstream narrative got to be mainstream because it’s upheld by the majority of experts in the relevant field. Not a sexy narrative, I know, but the simplest explanation is often the most likely to be true.

Every time someone on this forum tells me to Google “X”, I Google “X conspiracy” & it’s often enlightening. Without this thread, I’d be unaware of so much of the misinformation being fed to the willing public, so thanks for keeping me informed. The number I found was 322, though.

censorship in any form is not good bro. What they have done is censored people sharing their vaccine effects and have erased thousands of posts that unveil what is really happening. If anything is posted that sheds negative light on the vaccine or covid it is deleted. On social media you have lost your right to free speech

Honestly, all this misinformation is completely out of hand. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sick of pretending it is normal. At what point do we start treating these people how they treat us? We are winning. Once all the mandates start coming in and they still refuse to do their very small part, can we then ostracize them? Serious question. At what point do they become a huge burden on civilized society that is no longer tenable? Anyway, just a rant I guess.

I was able to humor the misinformation crowd up until the vaccines were authorized. They have been an anchor on our society since. I started ostracizing them already. I never really understood the rational to acknowledge their concerns and treat them like intelligent adults.
