Regardless of what the MSM says on a daily basis, the lethality rate of this virus, variants and all is extremely low. And if YOU are “vaccinated”, how am I threatening anyone?!? That is absolutely ludicrous. Reportedly you have a higher chance of getting struck by lightning than getting Covid if you’ve received the jab. You are a complete moron.

When did I talk about anyone showing up high on drugs? Can you read? I thought your common sense was built upon your ability to do your own research. I responded to a concern about what someone does in their own home or hotel room. That person is no danger to anyone other than themselves. You are a danger because you are more likely to get the virus, give those around you a higher viral load, and allow additional mutations that will some day affect our children. Maybe you can try podcasts where you don’t have to read.

 

It’s a sad case and maybe he actually had Covid the first time, and if so would be an outlier. UM school of medicine did a study of dozens of hospitals and the reinfection rate is only .65%. I know a number of people who say they got Covid twice and when asked about it further admitted they didn’t actually test the first time.

Also, getting the vaccine doesn’t guarantee resistance to infection any more than infection history, as the recent breakthrough outbreaks demonstrate. Johns-Hopkins and Cleveland clinic recently released reports stating it’s not necessary for previously infected people to get vaccinated.

Yet, in spite of science, data and the right of a person to make their own choices, the government is using public personalities to shame the public into getting the vaccine. I wonder if health and safety is truly the only reason for the push.

 

I can read just fine, you should try it. My comment was based on you responding to a previous poster’s comment regarding employer drug testing, which implies coming to work impaired. And how am I danger to you if you’re vaccinated?!? Viruses mutate, they’ve been mutating for millions of years. Nothing you or I do is going to change that. So stop telling people to get a vaccine thats not approved and worry about yourself.

What is the latest polio mutation? How long do drugs stay in the system? I thought they stayed longer than a day. My thinking was it is possible for someone to not be under the effects of crack, but still test positive. But then again I’m not an EMT.
