I also did not get this at first, since I got my ATP more than 15 years ago, I did not even understand the question. You must check how many hours WERE YOU REQUIRED when you took your ATP check-ride (under what rule). In my case, the only option was 1500hrs, back then was not shorter way to do it, regardless of education or program. Hope it helps.

Any advise about filling up the “Flight Time” regarding “instruction received as a a student?”. I have multiple type ratings, should I use this part for all the time received during initial training in each type?” Or this is referring only when you are starting your career as a “student pilot”.

Also, most of us are very seasoned professionals…are the hours and models utilized during initial training required? Cessnas, Piper, etc? Or they just need to see your “professional flight time”? It will be very difficult to be precise about the hours or models that I flew 25 years ago. Thank you!!!!!

Has anyone heard of united granted religious accommodations for Covid vaccine for new hires? I past the assessment but I’m not vaccinated and want to apply for RAP as stated on the new application but curious if will be considered or just filed in the trash.

Please PM me if you have any info. Thanks!

It seems that you can’t enter your flight times with decimal places, only whole hours. Overall it may not make a huge difference in numbers but it seems that a lot of these companies want you to be as precise as possible. Am I just overthinking this and should I just round up/down as appropriate?

Just an info for all trying to negotiate this débâcle. United IT is a complete ****show!!!!!!! So this NEW IT/Recruiting BS POS is a welcoming handshake of things to come should you choose to come here. Good luck, I’d recommend Delta/UPS/FedEx if you have the opportunity. Btw I’ve been here 7 yrs and in the current environment wouldn’t recommend it.

Default Application Question

Busted my initial LOE at a regional several years ago and then passed a couple days later.

Under the FAA Flight Status change tab, the question is “Have you ever been removed from flight status, downgraded, or failed any portion of flight training either civilian or military? The next question on a completely separate tab asks if I have any Checkride fails to which I disclosed my type ride failure. Do I answer yes to the first question also and under the “explain” tab, put exactly what I did for the second question?

Are you using the same device/computer you completed yesterday’s half on? The first time I saved my application and went back to finish it, it wouldn’t let me do it on another device.
