i dont think its a bad bet, if you live in base, to take the upgrade. If we get these rsv rules sorted out, it will obviously go more senior. Or if the music stops.. might not be a bad place to park yourself while you can get it- if you're willing to accept the cost. A slow down might mean less rsv utilization, especially with better rules.

You would think the solution to all these unfilled vacancies would be to increase the flying in bases people actually want to live in…
Instead of continuing to try and jam the square shaped piece into the round shaped hole. But then again I don’t see the big picture and as a 737 FO who is unwilling to commute from IAH to somewhere else, I guess I’ll just keep waiting till I can hold the widebody in base.
