Lol idk about that one. United has the worse reserve rules but if you bid NB, with the current short timeframe to hold a line, those working conditions can be avoided. I didn’t see much difference in American and United QOL when I was doing my own personal research. Delta is far superior and that was before the TA.

Oh good grief give it up. You shouldn’t have chosen Endeavor if you wanted Delta so bad. You can say the same for AA WO pilots wanting American. Keep being salty though niner, you’re good at that.

From what I understand you’ll get picked up quicker at Delta if you work for a LCC or competing regional. Is that generally true rather than waiting to flow 6yrs+/- from a WO regional?

Anyone who makes a 25+ year career decision based on a current contract is an idiot. United will get a contract and we will be paid more than DL until they snap up then AA will be paid more than all of us and we will all snap up and be relatively the same +\- some work rules.
I wish I could be surprised by how short sighted pilots can be. These reserve rules everyone says are worse than regionals? Yeah we could have fixed those 8 years ago…….

When things are rolling, then a regional that flows to your goal airline is the last place that you want to be.
When hiring slows to a crawl, then a regional that flows to your goal airline might be the only place you want to be.

My company has business accounts with the Big 4. Delta and Southwest are the only ones that don’t charge for a checked bag with a business account. That’s thirty bucks a flight discount. Additionally, when I choose my seats on Delta, anything outside of First Class and Economy Comfort is free of charge. That means I can get an aisle in the emergency row for free. United charges for a window seat in row 30. Delta also has free Wi-Fi for SkyMile members. If you have an Amex card, free lounge access on DAL flights. DAL doesn’t make irritating PA’s advertising their credit card programs. Hub airports for DAL are more current and updated as opposed to places like IAD, ORD, IAH, and DEN. I could keep going. I think UAL is better managed than ten years ago, but from a business traveler perspective, they are a distant second. Similar product to American, but well behind DAL at this point in time.

No intention to ruffle any feathers, but this is some naïve confirmation bias. Delta is in their own league on product and service. For examples you may not be aware of…
