The recruiters are probably still using July forecasted numbers but these were all revised. Hiring limit is a little over 200 a month, so its going to be 2,500 for 2026 plus the 800 September to December. As of today they are giving out early November class dates and maybe still some October ones.
I'm betting 2027 is also 2,500 hires because we get the same number of NB planes in 2027 as we do in 2026 but 787 deliveries are supposed to go up to 3 a month.
Good luck to everyone.

Wanted to contribute as well.
3700 TT
~ 1500 PIC
0 TPIC
4 year aviation degree
Solid volunteer background
0 checkride fails
Received assessment in the morning, did it that evening, email to schedule an interview was in my inbox 3 hours later. Application had been in the United system for two years leading up to the assessment. Part of the NK group getting furloughed but did not check the box yet.

Hiring manager just said its now 2,500 for 2026 plus we are hiring 200+ per month starting in September (we've already hired 145 this month). Boeing is ahead of delivery schedule and so United converted 48 MAX 10s to 9s and we get them all in 2026. Plus a bunch of A-321 NEO delivery slots opened up from LCCs that's deferred their slots to after 2030 so we swapped our 2030 delivery slots for those and now we are getting those planes.

Hello..does anyone have or know where to find which planes go into which bases?
Also wondering what a line holder schefule looks like. Can you drop and trade trips. Is there a mimimum credit hour you must fly? Thanks

the 737 is in every base
the 320 is in every hub
NBFO lines are all over the place. People generally find it better than the regionals, but there’s not any generalization beyond that.
You can drop and trade. You can theoretically drop to zero, it requires luck and skill. It is not something commonly available to new hires.

this is a common question and the search feature is your friend. Well, the results of a search will be your friend. The search feature is a frenemy at best.

While the introduction of the 321 is changing things a little (and will do so in higher volume going forward)
*****Using stereotypes and broad generalizations **********
generally speaking the Airbus flying is sort of the more legs per day, less flight time, daytime flying, smaller cities overnights…….737 has less legs per day, longer flight times, at least more red eyes than the 320, and overnights that are more Instagram worthy.
