If you think we should have to go do that crap after a 12-15 hour flight home… well I guess you’re just that level 5 professional some of us will never attain.
Maybe the COMPANY calls that a level 5 pro. Most pilots would call it stupid, and anything but professional.

I’ve tried every month the day after my schedule came out to see if an appointment was available… nada, so I’ll just be doing the ordering online. Has anyone ordered multiple sizes/fits? Or is it just one and done and then you return it for something else?

Guarantee you that you were one of the ones who got the CCS links, the postcard, and blew that **** off. Now you want to whine about how it's impossible to get sized.
Did you read the ALPA email? The company admits that they had less than half of the necessary appointments. Why the douche/troll comments re your fellow pilots? You some starry eyed new hire who drank too much PPD koolaid? I shake my head at you people who are such cringy management apologists.

Myself and quite a few others...wait for it...actually made appointments and went to them. I know that's hard to believe. It's quite a shocker really, to bloated whiney man-babies who get paid handsomely to work less than half the month. In your world, company bad, always, and everything on APC is true.

But hey, keep whining and complaining. It's what you do, it's who you are.

This guy makes the welcome announcement in front of the passengers... and judges the rest of us for not doing it. Guaranteed.

What's wrong with making a welcome announcement in front of the passengers, if you have time? Don't they pay our salaries?

Pilots are better heard, not seen in my opinion.

absolutely nothing. I didn't say there was anything wrong with it. But there are people who jusdge others for not choosing to do it. Which is pretty annoying.

What you're talking about has nothing to do with what the OP posted.

It was a whiny, lazy guy complaining that he waited until the 11th hour about there being no appointments, when many of us responded there were plenty. But of course it's never the pilots fault of course, so they are going to get up here and whine about it.

My response, among others, was that it 1) wasn't hard to get an appointment if you did it when recommended, and 2) most of this is because guys are entitled and don't want to do anything other than the bare minimum.

Now they act all mad and surprised. And yes, you do have time to go get measured. I have a second job and it was still easy for me to go.

But is he pretending to be a PanAm Clipper Skipper?
