Myself and quite a few others...wait for it...actually made appointments and went to them. I know that's hard to believe. It's quite a shocker really, to bloated whiney man-babies who get paid handsomely to work less than half the month. In your world, company bad, always, and everything on APC is true.
But hey, keep whining and complaining. It's what you do, it's who you are.

I have tried several times to book appointments. I have yet to see an appointment available less than a week out. I have tried to do walk ins several times at several different bases and been turned away each time. If you have not have these issues, congrats and I am jealous. I am on reserve so I am not going to make a special trip to the airport just to stand in line and and an hour getting fitted. Btw, why on earth does it take an hour? It took me 15 minutes to pick out a suit for my own wedding. It took even less than that to go through initial fitting when I was a new hire.

Must be a Scooby-doo mystery how all of us got in. Or maybe the other UA pilots getting fitted were figments of my imagination. Oh wait, they weren't, they've also been posting in this thread.

Could be a domicile thing, but I have yet to hear of a pilot getting fitted other than on this forum. Everyone I have spoken to in person has gone through what everyone else describes… no appointments available other than the odd one here or there on a day off.

Guess we will all find out when they put out the uniform swap over date - the guys who blew it off or waited till the last minute will be walking around in the old uniform.

Really, you still don’t get it? Some pilots got in, others didn’t. The FACT is there were not enough slots for everyone. Why are we even still talking about this?

But then again, that would be asking way too much from the whiners, so they'll wear the old stuff until they're forced to change over and show up in a mismatched poorly fitting uniform because "nobody makes me do things on my free time".

I have been trying to match up a date with my schedule since it was introduced and nothing matches. Guess I'll be wearing the the black and gold for a while. So far everyone I have flown with is in the same boat.
