The regional model is no friend of pilots. I was there when the whipsawing was driving pilot wages down to 12,000 a year. While scope restrictions might not be good for SkyWest or United profits, it is collectively better for pilots as a whole to have more mainline jobs. If you can’t see this, then I wish you all the best at your career at SkyWest, but please stay there and don’t apply for mainline jobs.

Guess you got bored because people quit posting in the OO forum, and you'd have to use your real name on the student council forum soooo... You came here to tell mainline guys how you make more money than them, and how you don't care about their opinions of you, and that they should give up scope (will never happen BTW) so you can do more IAH-College Station turns? Exactly what are you hoping to accomplish?

99 percent of the people at Skywest are solid pilots and good people. But there's always the 1 percent I guess...
