TPA is a load of CRAP!

What a joke this whole merger has become!

Nothing to do with TPA, just wondering if UAL ALPA has seniority block representation of if you just have a Cpt an FO rep for each base regardless of size.

Yea,

Trying to figure out the positive side... time will tell. Maybe, S-UAL will start recalling during summer while S-CAL takes their normal summer break to "Fly the Line". I will not hold my breath... seems to me just at a quick glance, this allows UCH to do one of two things: 1) Further drain S-UAL mainline flying to S-CAL via the 737 being "spread" around the system or 2) Spread the 737 around the system to recapture the flying outsourced from parking the S-UAL 737's back in 2008-09. 1) is very negative 2) is somewhat positive short term (brings former S-UAL back "in-house", although to S-CAL side), longer-term more positive for combined company and pilots... we reverse the trend of outsourcing!

Pie in the Sky... I know.

325 from a job offer at S-CAL, hoping for the best... but planning for the worst... By late Fall should be dusting off the old CAL uniform I once wore at COEX

Well, good luck to you either way, but if you do come back fall is "allegedly" the time frame when we all get to wear the same monkey suit system wide. Might not be any need for dusting by then.

No wonder you get some on here chest beating to the tune "we were doing very well before the merger and really didn't need it", all the while they were props, purchasing company required stuff out of pockets.

I am coming off mil deferment. USAF has taken waaayyy to long to approve my retirement...still pending, but should be approved. Their delay will put me outside the window to make the 17 Apr class. So May for me. Solo training (which I am not looking forward too) unless there are some others soing the same thing in May. I know a few others that are planning on returning in Jul and Aug as well.
