Where are the "official" acceptance numbers?

They literally turn the training center into skeleton manning during the summer months, and that is why the April classes are the last scheduled. Good luck.

Make sure you give them plenty of prior notice and don't assume you will start the exact day you become available. Get a firm start date in writing/ email early on so you can plan accordingly.

I am coming off mil deferment. USAF has taken waaayyy to long to approve my retirement...still pending, but should be approved. Their delay will put me outside the window to make the 17 Apr class. So May for me. Solo training (which I am not looking forward too) unless there are some others soing the same thing in May. I know a few others that are planning on returning in Jul and Aug as well.
Where did you hear there was a May class?

Contrail67,
Not a planned class in May. But since I am coming off active duty, the new hire dept said they will have to "build a class" for me or any others that are coming in from the military out of cycle. Not the way that I wanted to do it, but the AF is pressing me into that corner.

So...getting back on topic.
Reference the Furlough #17 update, it appears that 1068 offers have been made. What I didn't gather from the update is the number of how many have accepted positions in total since L-CAL began offering positions. Any ideas? 180, or so?
curious

Rumor has it.... 90 more letters went out yesterday to fill the added May 1st class. This will leave 279 more letters to get to every furloughed LUAL pilot with LCAL opportunity. The hearsay rumor says hiring off the street by July.

That would roughly line up with the 8 ball of the 04 FEB 01 class if true. They are almost through the remaining 2172s.
