You will be thrilled the first chance you get to go over the top of someone, it's easy to see.

Funny out of that quote you pick one and only one thing. Subconscious not letting you sleep well at night?

I really hope I get to be your first CAL B-777 Right...

Your condescending arrogance should be a sight to see.

The council 11 scheduling rep sent out an email a few days ago saying that recalls of furloughed pilots are continuing. It seems to be a huge misconception.

You don't know anything about me, by the way I don't think we have any cal b777 fo, last I looked it is United Airlines. Love your attitude also.

Even with cal's track record I tried very hard when this first took place but after watching the comments here and other places, the profit sharing, the excuse making I just went the other way.

I have said it before and you can not like it but I really don't believe cal would have ever joined alpa if not for the threat of merger. Maybe I am wrong but just appears that way to me.

Okay attack my attitude.

Oh Syd where to begin,

Now your saying this merger was planned when the IACP joined ALPA?
Is that what I am reading? I was an IACP member back then, I remember a meeting where a UAL guy was boo'd out the door for extolling the virtues of ALPA.

I was making a play on your B-777 left.... When there is one list you will be flying with L-CAL pilots, will you treat them all as scabs? Maybe you should confer with your L-UAL pilots currently flying at L-CAL to find out the real scoop on all us scabs here at CAL. Its funny you say I don't know you, you're right I don't. However you seem have lots of opinions about a group of pilots you know nothing about.

I've told you before but I'll say it again, I am not a scab. I was in junior high. No one in my family is a scab. I'd be honored to be the first L-CAL pilot you are forced to fly with. Beers on me.

No I did not say this merger was planned at that time I said your group were protecting themselves as far as seniority integration for a merger, with us or someone else. I do know plenty of cal pilots. Yes even some that interviewed in hotel rooms back in the 83 time frame.

Guess we will just see how it all plays out over time between the 2 groups and my guess is it will take quite a while for all of this to be sorted out.

I've flown with plenty of sUAL Capts on the 727, the 756 and the Bus. Been flying with a bunch of sCAL 737 Capts in my temporary role as a "new hire". Not a whole lot of difference. Both groups are decent guys/gals just trying to make a living. Both groups have a small %age of d-bags, too.

At some point we need to stop fighting each other and remember who the real enemy is.

Syd, IACP merged with ALPA on June 1, 2001. Just who were we getting ready to merge with 11 years ago??? You are just looking for any reason, real or imaginary, to hate us. That's fine, haters gonna hate. I'm just glad I haven't met anyone from sUA that spews vitriol like you do; every Jumpseat ride has been welcoming and educational and every flight with a sUA furloughee has been a positive bridge building experience.

You just keep doing your best to be a divisive a** and i'm sure that "it will take quite a while for all of this to be sorted out" will be a self fulfilling prophecy in your cockpit, er, flight deck.
