Yeah, I had to take the regional gig because I wasn't current (spent the last six years on active duty flying a desk). Also, when I started to get my resume/applications together, SWA and Jetblue were the only majors hiring. I applied there, but no surprise they didn't call me without recent experience. So I took the job I could get. I LOVE being back in an airplane, but it certainly isn't the job I want to get stuck in long term.

HEADS UP:

There has been some recent (within last few days) changes to the addendum section for United on airlineapps.com.

Be sure to make the needed additions/changes.

You sure it wasn't a swift kick in the face and a middle finger in your buttocks by management? Just making sure I read that right.

Neither works for me or for you, but for management the outcome is the same in their eyes no matter which method they use.

All poolies interviewing,
The interviews will be with Chief and assistant chief pilots for the time being. Once off the street hiring starts, they will have to have more people to interviewers. HR rep may be there as well.

Off the street will be by Jan. and will go until Spring and shut down for Summer. More hiring will resume in the Fall.

Does this mean interviews beginning in January, or Nov-Dec interviews for Jan class dates?
