How many UA furloughed guys will come back over the next few years? When will you get hired? How many guys will leave LAX for different equipment/bases to free up space? Those are the questions I would be asking myself to find out how long it would take.

No vacancies.
Not surprisingly, the "new" bases of ORD and DEN were filled while EWR and IAH had unfilled vacancies. Also don't forget that the junior pilots that actually received ORD in the last S-CAL bid were L-UAL furloughees who were simply returning to the base they were furloughed from.

The "better" flying is based on seniority, not base.

The Houston Training center was a let down. Yet the Kool-Aid drinkers will tell you how "advanced it is"
I hope they upgrade the place!

I also found myself doing a lot less POS out of EWR. Some guys dig those places...I do not.FWIW CLE is where you want to be.
Although you will be covering a great deal of EWR trips.
