Yea, don't take a job at a major. Stay where you are or become a janitor. Things will always stay the same or get worse, so don't come here.

So it's pretty much like its always been? No walking of a resume into CP, no call, or is this basically for first few months?

I probably should have held off on my OBAP & WAI memberships until I could find someone to walk my stuff in :) I keed I keed

What is that supposed to mean?

Which part of post?

The first part was talking to the point that it seems like not much has changed in regards to how they plan on hiring (must have resume walked in by numerous guys or you won't get a call).

The second part was a joke, I was referencing joining those organizations won't help guys/gals unless somebody walks their stuff in. (I was kidding, I belong to both those organizations, and both are great organizations for current and future pilots)

From what I understand from CV, poolees will fill classes through the end of the year. Next year is still up in the air as far as if they will be hiring off the street or if those slots (250) through spring will be filled by UA furloughed pilots. It is contingent on the JCBA, whether it passes and IF so do they get longevity pay. Basically, no JCBA = new hires, JCBA with no longevity= new hires, JCBA with longevity for furloughs = returning UA furloughees with new hires late 2013- early 2014? (My guess). That's all I got.
