CAL hiring
#301
I have been asking my reps where in the TA it says that United pilots flying for CAL will receive credit for their time at CAL to be included in pay longevity, not one has been able to provide an answer. If it is not written in the TA, do you think the company will pay it? Upon signing the TA, everyone is immediately going to their new rate of pay except for the twice furloughed United pilots flying for CAL, why do you suppose that is? We are being asked to vote for a contract and yet we are the only group of pilots that have no idea what our rate of pay will be in 6 months after the SLI. Have you ever heard of pilots voting for a contract and not knowing what they are going to be paid?
The UAL MEC has failed us.

I think it is a heads up, to make sure apps are updated as they are going ot start with off the street interview selections very soon.
FBN-- or anyone, has the interview process been finalized? If so, any idea what the basic format will be for the genuine new hires?

But being an application, I think the conservative approach is always best. They should see that you have the 737 type, why tempt fate by claiming that you have "flown" it?
