Yes I did...I flew a 700 mostly at the end..and shook my head constantly that these poor pax were stuck in that little tube for 3 plus hours...a flight that used to be and should have been flown by a guppy or bus...but, it was late 2006, so I'm sure it was the merger excuse why your airline didn't provide adequate aircraft for this type of route...oh wait, there was no merger talk in 06...snaps, my bad!
And I think you meant to say, " I hope reserve does US well"...

They forgot, that the main reason they parked 737s was contributed by outsourcing to 70 seaters and scope relaxation. The first scope give away, L-UAL pilots voted yes, the second time they have outsourced more flying to "regional partners", it was taken during bankruptcy.

The last few post shows why Ben Salley decided to resign from the forum and likely will not run in upcoming elections. You guys want to stay in the dirt and are willing to allow the company to control your lives. Weather you fly 737 or the 747 you need to rise above this little snipping game. You stood by and watched Ben Salley get beat up on this forum and did nothing. He was perhaps one of the best CAL guys to lead the pilot group going forward. You'll get very little respect in the industry as long as you demonstrate the CAL attitude of the past.
So, enjoy YOUR reserve pos SLI.

Well, yes and no. Right now there are 50 seaters on the route, and if there is an alternate required, they usually can't take ANY jumpseaters

If you don't remember you can do a little research. Data is still out there.
If referring to the senior guys selling you out - THE SENIOR GUYS DIDN'T HAVE THE NUMBERS TO VOTE THAT CONTRACT IN. Are you ashamed to admit to voting for that contract - understandable with hindsight.

Did you know that Newark was voted most unfriendly place in the country?
I remember a post of your's talking about kids on this forum. Does the little snipe and ankle biting fall in that category?

Not that I like contributing to thread drift, but I believe if you look back at some particular posts you will find that "Staller" and perhaps therefore CarlosDanger is actuallly a -400 Captain/85 hire 570 at UAL, in other words senior to virtually every poster on APC regardless of the SLI. I could be wrong, and it wouldn't be the first time.
Continuing on the thread drift here, I am beginning to see a trend amongst APC posters on this particular sub-forum: no one is happy, no one is willing to work towards any constructive future, and everyone wants to blame "the other guy." I guess that's politics.
Our industry never operates in a vacuum and what is given to one is, more often then not, taken from another. If you understand and except that it makes understanding "the other guy's point of view" a whole lot easier. If you continue to think that you somehow had it all and deserve it all then you will surely die young, bitter, divorced, and with high blood pressure to boot.
Anyways, just thinking out loud. . . feel free to tell me what an idiot I am now.

This is what I was referring to - I had the pleasure and displeasure of meeting the F/O reps of IAH and EWR. Either one of these two get your support and why?
