Wow. Those who upgraded after 10/10 will be static for a long time.

Not showing that on the snapshot, looks like EWR 737 10/25/2005 ...GUM is 9/13/2005...the most junior awarded L-Ual based on vacancy in GUM is 12/21/92

Maybe, maybe not, doesn't really matter with PBS as the lines are the same from 80 or above the G-line -20% anyways..static or not, pay's the same...plus with the retirements over the next 5 years, there will be plenty of flex and slop. The old staffing 'rules' still apply regardless of the new monthly vancancy/displacement scenarios: it's harder to get shoved out of a seat than awarded into one. That's purely from a financial company standpoint.

I am talking about awards based on vacancies on this snapshot. EWR 737 CAP has no vacancies, thus no awards (and the snapshot has no backfills or secondaries). GUM's junior award for 737 CAP is indeed 12/92 (seniority #4532)....which is the junior 737 CAP award on this snapshot.

There are over 400 757/767 pilots in ORD. All of them (in both seats) can hold 737 Captain in ORD. When they park all the 757's, where do you think those 300 pilots will go (there will be some left flying the 767)? Let's say that 100 of them bid 737 Captain in ORD. There are currently only 112 Captain positions...

There will be bumps. The junior CAL captains will have to pick another seat.

Yes, it will be expensive.
